Our Brand

At Nair, we believe you shouldn’t have to choose between protection and personal style. Whether your day is a red-eye flight, a packed itinerary, or a quick weekend escape, our travel bags meet you where you are — practical, polished, and ready.

Founded in 2025 by Neo and Allen after a shared frustration with style-less protective bags, Nair builds thoughtful companions shaped by real journeys: user-led design, tested features (quick passport access, trolley sleeve, removable toiletry pouch, secure laptop nest), and careful, responsible production.

We make pieces that carry what matters and honor the people who make them — small, considered things that make travel feel easier.

Meet Our Founders

We met by chance on a trip and immediately clicked over the same frustration: every travel bag we loved either lost its style or failed at the little, essential things that make a trip smooth. Neo brought a streetwise eye for detail and fearless creativity; Allen brought a product-designer’s insistence that things must work beautifully in real life. What started as a friendly conversation on a train platform turned into a promise: we’d design the travel bags we wished existed.

We began as travelers first — sketching on napkins between layovers, testing pockets at gate waits, living with prototypes through subway rides and sunrise departures. Those real trips shaped our choices: quick passport access, an easy trolley sleeve, a secure-but-reachable laptop nest, removable pouches, and one-hand zippers. Each feature answers a moment we’ve actually lived.

Growing Nair has been a hands-on, people-first journey. Local makers, stitchers, and testers joined us early, turning our travel-worn ideas into reliable companions. Many on the team have found steadier income and new skills through this work — and their care is stitched into every bag.

We build for the person who’s always on the move: the early-morning commuter, the weekend escaper, the long-haul traveler. Thank you for joining us — your next trip might just begin with one of our bags.

Sustainability

We’re guided by the belief that the choices we make today shape the journeys of those who come after us. That idea — a quiet, forward-looking responsibility — informs how we design, source, and ship each bag.

We prioritize durability and repairability, so a Nair bag isn’t disposable but a piece that grows more useful with time. Wherever possible, we choose lower-impact materials (recycled textiles, responsibly sourced fabrics, and long-life hardware) and avoid needless single-use plastics in packaging. Our shipping is plastic-minimal and packed with recycled, compostable, or recyclable materials to keep waste out of landfills.

On the factory floor, we work with partners who value fair pay, safe working conditions, and skills development — because sustainability includes people as much as materials. We monitor our supply chain, seek ways to reduce energy and water use, and continuously test better options that lower our carbon footprint.

This is an ongoing commitment, not a finished report. If you’d like, tell us which sustainability claims or certifications (for example: recycled content percentages, vegan materials, or third-party standards) you want highlighted, and I’ll tailor this section to include accurate, verifiable details.
